Kuehl Pushes for Expansion of Paid Family Leave
State Senator Sheila Kuehl has introduced a bill into the Senate that would expand the eligibility requirements for California's Paid Family Leave law to include workers caring for seriously ill grandparents, grandchildren, parents-in-law, and siblings. The move toward expansion comes on the heels of a report requested by the senator, which finds that over 400,000 Californians have benefited from Paid Family Leave since it was enacted. Read More
